Being one of the most reliable EV chargers, KEBA wallboxes still often cause some stress to the EV drivers who use them. To clarify, often a unit locks the socket and does not allow users to pull the cable off.

Typically, if a problem with unlocking the connector occurs, this doesn’t mean your KEBA completely breaks down. Still, this signifies one of the following faults:
- First, there is tension on the cable

What to do before calling for the KEBA unlock service
Before calling for the KEBA unlock service, take two following considerations:
- First, make sure you completed the charging process. To clarify, as it should be, all KEBA stations are equipped with an electric shock preventive feature. Thus, when the charging process starts, the device locks the cable and doesn’t allow you to put it off.
- Second, if you have UDP Programmers make sure you enabled the “unlock” command. If you forget to do this, the device can still hold the cable in its socket, not allowing you to put it off.
