We design and manufacture our own charge point electronics, so where a model’s parts are no longer made but the enclosure, mounting and supply are sound, we can usually re-equip the existing enclosure with Auto Eco electronics and hand it back as a supported unit, with documentation and a warranty on the electronics we fit and the work we do. Where replacement really is the better answer — a cracked or corroded enclosure, a fault in the property’s wiring, a unit still under a warranty someone will honour, or a repair that would cost more than a new charger — we will tell you so rather than take the work.
