Why you have to go green

It is all about sustainable development. Unless you care about the environment, you steal the future from your descendants. Thus, going green is essential both for individuals and companies.

Personal responsibility for the future

Turn to statistics. And you will find out the number of vehicles on the roads is increasing steadily every year. Think about pollution the petrol car produces with its tailpipe emissions – from carbon dioxide to lead compounds. And as the number of vehicles is increasing, the pollution degree is also raising. Government initiatives

First, in 2030, the UK petrol car ban will come into force. Thus, the only vehicles allowed for the first sale in the UK will be plug-in vehicles. Moreover, there are plans to ban ICE vehicles on the pre-owned car market till 2050 or earlier.

Second, in 2019, London authorities entered an Ultra Low Emission Zone, within which the drivers have to pay £12.50 as daily tolls unless they drive EV. Moreover, this Zone is growing and include more roads. Besides, it is highly likely some other cities will feature such a zone in the near future.

To conclude, this is not only about the UK. Governments in other countries share ‘go green’ initiatives in one form or another.
