Rapid DC charging is not possible. Its owners can top up its 7.6 kWh battery using any of our EV chargers as they are fully suitable for BMW 225xe.
BMW 330e
This PHEV with a battery of 7.6 kWh and a total power of 185 kW (248 hp) can ride, on average, 17 miles on a single charge. The model does not support DC charging. It has a maximum input power of 3.7 kW and can be fed only with AC. Our EV solutions are compatible with BMW 330e as it has Type 2 charge port.
BMW 530e
Another plug-in hybrid. Its average electric range is 21 miles. The car is equipped with a 9.2 kWh battery that provides 185 kW (248 hp) total power and has 3.7 kW AC charge power. Rapid charging with DC is not for this car. The AC charging goes through a Type 2 connector. Our stations, equipped with a Type 2 cable, are quite suitable for BMW 530e.
BMW 740e
This plug-in hybrid model rides on a fully charged battery about 15 miles. Its 9.2 kWh battery capacity generates a maximum power of 240 kW (322 hp). Like many other models, this car is not compatible with rapid charging as it has only AC receiver of 7 kW power and a Type 2 plug to feed the car. Use any of our EV chargers as they are fully suitable for BMW 740e.
BMW 94AH 3Rex
This is an interesting electric with extender model. This means its electric range is longer than its fuel one. The car doesn’t have great total power (only 125 kW or 168 hp). However, its 33.2kWh battery provides 105 miles electric range. With this car, you can enjoy both fast and rapid charging. Feeding the vehicle with AC, you need to use a Type 2 connector and expect it to receive no more than 11 kW per hour. Its DC input power is 49 kW and you need to use a CCS connector. Our EV complexes are compatible with BMW 94AH 3Rex both for fast and rapid charging.
BMW i3
This is a fully electric car. Its 42.2 kWh battery provides 125 kW (168 hp) of power and 170 miles of range in a combined cycle. Both fast AC and rapid DC charging are possible. For fast battery top-up, the car can receive no more than 11 kW and has a Type 2 port. For rapid battery top-up, its input capacity has the limit of 49 kW and the car has a CCS port. So, our EVSEs are fully suitable for BMW i3
BMW i8
This is a plug-in hybrid of 15-mile range on a single charge with the total power of 266 kW (357 hp). The car is equipped with a standard for this manufacturer on-board charger.
